Country and pop musician Morgan Wallen has been arrested for throwing a chair off the rooftop of the Chief’s Bar in Nashville Tennessee.

In an X (formerly Twitter) post Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) said Wallen was booked early April 8 on four counts.

The police said Wallen was charged with three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one of misdemeanour disorderly conduct.

In the post, MNPD said the bond was set at $15,250 USD.

Nashville police said Wallen was arrested by officers after the chair he threw landed near two officers on Broadway below the bar.

No reports confirm the reason why Wallen decided to throw a chair over off the balcony nor has Wallen commented on the incident yet.

So far Wallen has not cancelled any of his tour dates and is still set to appear for his next concert.

The One Night at a Time Concert will be on April 20 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi with Bailey Zimmerman, Nate Smith and Lauren Watkins.

Wallen’s party has also not said whether he will attend his concert at Hyde Park on June 4 in London, U.K.

In a February press release, Wallen announced he was partnering with the TC Restaurant Group to launch his own restaurant on Broadway.

The restaurant will be named This Bar and Tennessee Kitchen, is scheduled to open in 2024, and will highlight Wallen’s career and pay homage to growing up in Tennessee.
