γαβι is a talented young DJ hailing from Montreal with roots in France. Dominating Montreal’s vibrant music scene and a graduate of McGill University with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Musical Applications of Technology, she seamlessly blends her technical prowess with a deep-rooted passion for music.
Raised amid diverse musical influences, γαβι’s childhood was a fusion of African rhythms and world music, including the enchanting gwoka rhythms of Guadeloupe and the infectious zouk beats of Kassav. Inspired by her cousin, a professional Greek pianist, she embarked on her musical journey at the age of 5, mastering the piano and exploring multiple genres, from reggae to jazz, classical to blues.
Today, γαβι is dedicated to sharing her eclectic musical journey with the world through her art of DJing. She aims to immerse listeners in the melodic landscapes she holds dear, inviting them to discover and dance to the rhythms that resonate with her soul.
