About Sydney Gastaldo

Sydney is a Fine Arts student at Concordia University, majoring in Music. Born in Vancouver, Sydney grew up in Ottawa, Canada and spent three years living in Rome, Italy. Despite having been trained as a classical musician, Sydney’s influences are more aligned with Punk and alternative Rock styles. As a writer, Sydney’s interests are veered towards music journalism, artist interviews and underground fashion pieces. As an aspiring musician, Sydney joined Funktasy with hopes of gaining more experience within all areas of the music industry, such as promotion and journalism.
