MC Mario & Natalia Popovska – IntoXicated (PAYSON Remix)
MC Mario has once again dropped a banger of a song, titled “IntoXicated” with the label Tycoon Music. “IntoXicated” is a classic dance hall track and will quickly become a DJ staple.
MC Mario is a Montreal-based DJ and radio jockey with 3.5 million albums sold under his belt in Canada. Mario co-hosted for CKMF-FM in the late 1980s before moving to what is now known as Virgin Radio Montreal. MC Mario was also a DJ with the NHL hockey team, the Montreal Canadiens, one of the DJs that played in the barn during the team’s last Stanley Cup win in 1993. He currently hosts his globally syndicated show House Party World which airs weekly in Canada , Australia, Israël , Brazil, France , Romania , U.S.A. , U.K. and more. MC Mario’s dance floor knowledge is on full display on this track as it is an example of the culmination of Mario’s experiences all in one track.
Natalia Popovska lends her brilliant vocal talents to the song and leaves listeners with a melodic masterpiece. Her voice lures listeners into the club and pumps them up once inside.
The track is remixed by PAYSON, another artist signed with Funktasy Records. PAYSON is another Montreal-based DJ. He has grown up experimenting with viola, alternative rock and DJ equipment and it shows in his ability to blend a variety of influences into his music and depth of his musical knowledge.
The beat drop is masterfully crafted to leave the listener anticipating the drop at the edge of their seat before satisfying them with a great drop at the 1.24-minute mark that really sets a great tone for the rest of the song.
