ALOK

A prolific, forward-thinking force in the industry, Alok was destined for DJ greatness. The son of Swarup and Ekanta, two pioneers of electronic music in Brazil, he’s created a career for himself that’s reached grand heights, becoming one of the most listened to Brazilian artists in the world. First breaking through with feel-good, melodic hits like “Never Let Me Go” and “Big Jet Plane”, he’s made a solid reputation for himself as a solo artist and for his remix work with artists like Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Jason Derulo and Meduza. His dance-pop/Brazilian bass stylings have given us some hooky earworms throughout the years. He had a busy 2024, releasing over 15 singles, including blissful bops like “Deep in Your Love” with Bebe Rexha and the hypertechno-tinged “Tsunami” with Ely Oaks.

Also a conscious, community-minded philanthropist, he released “The Future Is Ancestral” in 2024, an album made collaboratively with 50 indigenous Brazilian musicians, where all royalties went toward the communities involved. It’s work like this that shows the power and change that music can create. Alok has already started 2025 with a couple of catchy singles – “Euphoria” with Armin van Buuren, Norma Jean Martine, and LAWRENT and “Last Night I Dreamt I Fell in Love” with Kylie Minogue. With multiple festivals and club appearances like EDC, Coachella and Tomorrowland Belgium booked for this year, both his sun-kissed sound and philanthropic nature will mark him as a positive figure in the EDM scene.

Fred Again

One of the UK’s most recognized names in British dance music of the past couple of years, Fred Again has made a name for himself as a prolific producer and DJ. Through his emotionally charged, house and garage-inflected productions as a solo artist and his adaptability as a collaborator with everyone from Skrillex to Ed Sheeran, he has become one of the most exciting electronic artists of the 2020s. Starting as a BRIT award-winning producer for several pop artists, he’s now turned his focus to his solo career.

Both his last album ‘Ten Days’ and his previous ‘Actual Life’ series mix his euphoric pop-house sensibilities with the kind of ambience you can find on a Burial record. His tracks incorporate soundbites from nights out, personal voice notes and demo vocals recorded through phone mics, adding a distinctly intimate angle to his music.

Sets

His live sets are a blend of UK bass, deep house and techno. As a trio, he, Skrillex and Four Tet have joined together to play pop-up shows globally, notably selling out Madison Square Garden within three minutes.  To promote ‘Ten Days’, Fred hit the road for his 2024 ‘Places We’ve Never Been’ tour, connecting with audiences around North America. He also headlined several festivals last year, including Way Out West, Flow Festival and Reading and Leeds. His renowned Boiler Room set is the second most watched ever, surpassing the likes of Bicep and Disclosure.

He showed a softer side to his artistry with his Tiny Desk performance, brilliantly merging his triggered samples with live sound, showcasing an immense talent as a multi-instrumentalist. With a slew of collaborators from EDM artists to vocalists like Sampha and Anderson Paak and a charmingly sensitive style to his songwriting, it’ll be interesting to see how he continues to develop as an artist and live performer.

Dom Dolla

Dom Dolla is a name you can bank on for infectious house tunes. The Melbourne musician has made his way as one of the shining stars of the decade – his party-ready bangers from his disco-tinged dancefloor hit “Saving Up” to the darker flavours of “Eat Your Man” are all guaranteed to keep your head bopping and feet shuffling. The past few years have seen him produce a string of hit singles including those mentioned before and others like “Rhyme Dust” with MK, “girl$” and “Cave” with Tove Lo. Originally a graphic designer, he made a pivot into music as a full-time producer/DJ around 2013. Breaking through with songs like “Define” in and “You” in the mid-2010s, he’s since honed his sound into something effortlessly cool and club friendly.

With numerous no.1 records on the ARIA Club Chart, he recently secured 11 nominations at the ARIA Music Awards, taking home the “Best Dance/Electronic Release” award for “Saving Up”. He also toured his homeland Australia last year, selling over 170,000 tickets – a record for an electronic music artist in the country. This led to him becoming the top-ranked Australian act on Tixel’s “Hottest 100” live events tally for 2024.

His success isn’t only down under, being recognized by numerous publications like Rolling Stone, DJ Mag and GQ as a major player to watch, having just played two sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden, described by Rolling Stone Australia as “wild”. He’s also setting off to start a summer residency at HÏ Ibiza, officially the world’s number #1 nightclub, certifying Dom Dolla as an unstoppable force in his industry. Now an internationally known star making major moves, the value of the Dolla seems like it won’t drop anytime soon.

David Guetta

One of the most recognized DJ/artists not just in EDM, but across all music, David Guetta almost needs no introduction. His career of countless hits, decorating euphoric beats with hooky pop arrangements and star collaborators, brought EDM to a wider audience. Just shuffling through the “This Is David Guetta” playlist on Spotify is like spinning a wheel of undeniably catchy dance music, and whatever tune you land on, you know you’ll be humming it for the rest of the day. He’s been well rewarded for his contributions, claiming the number one spot in DJ Mags “Top 100 DJ’s” three times in the past five years. He’s won Grammys, topped both dance and all-genre charts, and is currently the 15th most streamed artist on Spotify – making him the most listened to DJ on the platform.

In 2024, he put out some popular tracks, from “Cry Baby” with Clean Bandit and Anne Marie to “I Don’t Wanna Wait” with One Republic, the latter of which repurposes the old O-Zone “Dragonsta Din Tei” melody into a glossy, glorious modern house anthem. His collab with IVE, “Supernova Love”, sampled Ryuichi Sakomoto’s theme from the 80s war film “Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence” into a glittery dance/K-Pop banger. Last year, he kept up his live appearances, performing at Capital’s Summertime Ball, Lollapalooza Paris and World Club Dome, as well as touring and holding his and MORTEN’s “FUTURE RAVE” residency at Hï Ibiza.

In 2025, Guetta’s iconic “F*** ME I’M FAMOUS!” residency will return to Ushuaïa Ibiza every Monday from June to October, and he’s been confirmed as a headline act for Creamfields 2025. It looks like this year will be another active year to add to the larger-than-life legacy of David Guetta.
